Our journey began in 1997

In 1997, my wife Daryl and I, Keith, built Wakedon Holiday Cottage. We carefully placed it in the far corner of our grounds, ensuring it was out of sight from our house, roads, and footpaths. We also offered B&B from our home, a tradition we continued until recent years. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Daryl became ill, leading us to stop the B&B. However, we continued to let the cottage to our loyal customers until Daryl passed away in January 2026.

The cottage is truly memorable because it was purpose-built and designed exclusively as a holiday retreat. It was crafted, constructed, and furnished to reflect the ideal cottage we would always hope to rent ourselves. Having rented many cottages worldwide during our business careers, we knew exactly what would make a stay special and comfortable for our guests. The privacy is perfect for treasured cars.
